Lynn Barnes is a devoted wife of 20 years, proud mother and grandmother, and a woman who lives by her faith in God. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in California, she later made Georgia her home for over 15 years.

An accomplished author, Lynn has written several impactful books, including Beyond What You See, Resurrection of Me, The Health of Healthcare, Forgiven & Free and her first children’s book, Jam’s Big Park Adventure, inspired by her granddaughter Jealyn. She is also the playwright of the inspirational stage play Breaking the Chains, which shines a light on family, faith, freedom, and redemption.

Lynn’s creative journey has led her to work on multiple plays in Marietta, GA, and step into the world of film and television as a background actor. She has appeared on The Resident and in the hit movie Coming to America 2, where she had the honor of working alongside Eddie Murphy.

Beyond the stage and screen, Lynn has served in youth ministry and continues to live out her calling as a Proverbs 31 woman—dedicated to faith, family, and using her gifts to inspire and encourage others.
