Lynn Barnes is an author, playwright, producer, speaker, and the founder of Beyond What You See, LLC, a company dedicated to creating inspiring stories that encourage hope, healing, faith, and transformation.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, raised in California, and having spent more than 15 years in Georgia, Lynn draws from a lifetime of diverse experiences to create authentic, relatable stories that resonate with audiences.

She is the author of several books, including Beyond What You See, Resurrection of Me, The Health of Healthcare, Forgiven & Free, and the children's book Jam's Big Park Adventure. Lynn is also the playwright and producer of the inspirational stage productions Breaking the Chains and The Wait, original works that explore faith, family, resilience, and the power of human connection.

Her creative journey has included work in theater, film, and television, with appearances on The Resident and Coming 2 America. Through every project, Lynn remains committed to using the arts as a platform to inspire, encourage, and spark meaningful conversations.

A devoted wife of over 20 years, proud mother and grandmother, and woman of faith, Lynn believes that every person has a story worth telling.
